Hillsborough Pride hosts several events throughout the year
along with many ongoing activities throughout the community.
2016 Town Clean-up Day - Saturday May 21 - 9:00 am - noon
Come show your pride for our town and meet us at the Pride Office at 9:00 am to help us clean up our town.
Gloves, safety vests, and garbage bags will be provided. Please complete the
sign up form
and mail it to the Pride Office at PO Box 1566 Hillsboro NH 03244
so we can plan ahead and assign areas. Join us back at the Pride Office for a pizza party at noon.
Please take this opportunity to also help clean up the roadsides in your
neighborhoods. Contact Pride, get your Blue trash bags at the Pride office,
and we can arrange to pick up the roadside bags in the afternoon.
If you bring your blue neighborhood clean-up trash bags to the Hillsborough Transfer
Station yourself, you are eligible for free map location for the Town-wide yard sale
the following weekend. If you cannot clean-up your neighborhood that day, you can
contact the Pride office at 603-464-2953 to arrange a time to pick up the Blue Trash bags.
2016 Annual Town Wide Yard Sale Date and Time: Saturday, May 28th, 8am to 2pm. Rain or Shine!
All area residents who have
special treasures to sell can join in the fun of Hillsborough's 20th annual yard sale day. The focus is on dozens of yard sales all
over town. Hillsborough Pride sponsors advertising for the event and encourages everyone involved to show support through donations
made payable to Hillsborough Pride. If you would like to have a yard sale but really don't have a good location where you live, you
may request space in Butler Park for an additional cost of $5. Your space/area in the Park should be kept within a 10 x 10 foot space
per $5 charge. Canopies or tents are not required, however if you do use one ALL canopies and displays must be weighted down. NO
Stakes allowed due to the underground sprinkler system. Just indicate your request for space in Butler Park on the registration form
and include your fee. Hillsborough Pride hosts the Town Wide Yard Sale to encourage a sense of community pride and cohesiveness. We
take this opportunity to get neighbors and visitors outside and involved with one another and to show off everything Hillsborough has
to offer. It's not often that everyone in town gets invited to the same party. The Town Wide Yard Sale is an occasion for
community-wide fun and relaxation.
Mail the registration form to Hillsborough Pride,
PO Box 1566 Hillsboro NH 03244 ASAP to be
placed on the map.
Location: Throughout the Town of Hillsborough; Registration: $3 entry fee to be
placed on the Town Wide Yard Sale Map; Registration Deadline: for site
reservation and map placement application must be postmarked by May 20th.
street address location will be on the maps (so GPS can find you) so no yard
sale numbers or follow-up calls will be necessary. Put up your own neighborhood signs,
if you would like, directing people to your location.
